the goddess, the man and the emptiness 3:49 PM

shadows danced around.
round and round they spun.
swirling into a great ball of mist.
surrounding his soul.
thus, the haunting begin.

the greedy emptiness swallowed all that it touches.
devoured his soul.
slowly savouring every joy in his memory.
noisily eating up this broken soul without scant heed to his agony.

oh.. how much longer will this madness prevail?
oh.. will he ever be whole again?

and the god that was asleep awoke, sending ripples through the sea.
mountains moved aside for her arrival and the lands shifted.

and the goddess who was his came unto him. awed was he by her. for she was like nothing he had ever seen. nobody could paint a picture as perfect as her. her beauty caused the earth to sprout flowers and the wind to sing.

emptiness flinched. the goddess who was not its continued her timely march, not slowing down nor quickening her steps, unhindered by its presence. emptiness retreated, lossening its grip on his soul.

paying it no attention, the goddess strolled on, and when she judged the distance to be close enough, she stopped.

and sang.

oh.. how melodious it sounded. like the tinkling of bells merged with all the song of the wind, she sang.
oh.. how divine it sounded, all of earth stopped to listen and was filled with immense joy. so moved was the earth that the skies parted and the stars shifted.

emptiness shrank from her and shrieked in fury. it thrived on pain, on fear, on agony. but she had removed them from its grip by a single song. it raged and thrashed. it spits and bites. it struggled to gain ground.

but it failed.

emptiness faded away into the background. retreated back to its den, to recuperate, to amass power and to bid time for revenge.

'come, come away with mi and i will have a care for u,' spake the goddess unto him.

'i wish i could, divinity,' spake the man,' but im so tired.'

'come, come away with mi and we shall never return. never will u despair nor feel alone,' spake the goddes unto him.

his spirits soared with her words and he reached out to take the goddess outstretched hands. together, they roamed the skies and danced with the stars. together, they received the blessing of the pearly mother moon and played with the burning lights of the fiery sun. together, they bathed in the colors of the beautiful rainbow. together, they were freed the burdens of earthly desires and feelings.

together, they were one.

goodbye 5:46 PM

she cut him up like he was ham.
to and fro, the blade sang.
crimson red painted the floor.
splat, splat, they went.
who can stop this insanity?
who dare deprieve her of her lust for blood?

he screamed, screamed.
she weeped, weeped.
who can hear his pleas?
who can feel her hurt of his infidelity?

her rage burned white-hot, burned anew.
she parted his skin,
sliced through his flesh.

he screamed aloud, screamed anew.
he begged.
he thrashed.

he broke her heart

and broke her trust.
she broke his limbs

and broke his guts.

but he was not dead yet.
no.
she was not letting him off so easy.
he had to suffer.

her mind was so bent, bent.
she had lost all humanity the moment her blade grazed his skin.
she was a beast, an animal with primitive instincts.
she was bent on revenge.

she tore opened his chest.
ripped out his guts.
cut off his groin
and smashed all his parts.

he fainted.

she laughed.

and cried.

with trembling fingers,
she slit his throat and bid goodbye.

she leaned out the window and let fly.

goodbye.

4:17 PM

what if god is one of us?
just a soul like all of us?
just a stranger on a bus?
singing and on his way home.
just on his way home...

how i spent my summer vacation 4:49 PM

by twinkie

i spent my vacation in the bug house, listening to the other buggies screaming and laughing just to pass the time away. normal people cant seem to understand how nice it is to be nuts somethimes, and that's very sad. people out there in the world of normals have to face reality everyday, and reality is usually flat and grey and ugly, and time only runs in one direction, and doorknobs cant talk. a true nutso doesnt have to put up with that. we can make out our world as beautiful as we want it to be, since it has to do what we tell it to do.

isn't that neat?

in the world of nuts, nothing is real, so we can change anything we don't like. if a day is beautiful, we can make it last for a thousand years; if it's ugly, we can just throw it away. if the sun is too bright, we can send it to its room, and if the stars are too dim,we can tell them to burn more brightly, and they will, just to make us happy.

that's what makes the world of nuts so much nicer than the world of normies. our truth wags its tail and licks our fingers; their truth snarls, and it bites.

sometimes, sometimes, those of us in the world of nuts think about the world of normies, and we've pretty much decided that it might be sort of fun to visit it once in a while, but we certainly wouldn't want to live there. it's just too desperate and ugly, and the normies never seem to get the things they want, no matter how hard they try and that's very sad.

people from the world of normies used to visit us in the bughouse now and then, but they weren't really much fun. they always look so serious and worried, and they almost never laughed. normies just can't seemt to see the world we buggies see it, so they can't even begin to see how funny iy is. they couldn't seem to relax, and their eyes got all wild when the nutso down the hall started to practise screaming. don't they know that screaming is a fine art? in the olympic games of the world of nuts, a perfect ten scream wins the gold medal every time.

i've moved back to the world of normies now, and i know i'm supposed to be serious and never laugh, but sometimes - sometimes - i scream a little bit, just for old times' sake. i make it a point to scream politely, though. it's not nice to wake the neighbours in the grey world of normies. a few quiet screams aren't really all that disturbing, though, and i always seem to sleep better after i scream.

and when i sleep, i sometimes dream of the world of the nuts, and my doorknob sings to mi, and my walls hold mi tight, and i drift above the sky and look down at the desperate, grubby, ugly world of the normies where everybody is serious and worried, and never, never, ever smiles.

and i laugh.

whisk mi away 3:10 PM

i dont know who you are.
and i dont really care.
whisk mi away...
whisk mi away...

i missed the touch of flesh,
missed the sound of soft snores,
missed the taste of tears,
missed the feeling owning the world.

i dont know who you are.
i dont really care.
just whisk mi away...
whisk mi away...

sold 1:30 PM

"i've nothing left now...
perhaps i've nothing to begin with...
i guess when you decide to sell yourself out,
all that's left is only the haggling of the price..."

6:09 PM

should i embark on a new journey or shall i stay on this lonely road?
either way, i could not see the destination.

i dont know who is the one play-acting,
was it you or me?
the truth evaded me yet again.
esacaped.
*poof*
gone within a blink.

might i find the courage,
i would undress you bit by bit.
to see the layers fall and crumple around your feet
would be satisfying indeed.

at last, you'll be naked.
all your mask unveiled.
the truth would subsequently come into play,
then,

from then on,
i may trust you yet again.
